Baseball Recap: St. Brendan Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the St. Brendan Sabres came up short against the Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack and fell 5-2.

St. Brendan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diego Alvarez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

St. Brendan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Schoolhouse Prep, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Brendan will take on Spanish River at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Schoolhouse Prep, they will challenge Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Schoolhouse Prep is facing Goleman at the right time seeing as Goleman is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
