Volleyball Recap: Mukwonago Gets the Win

The Mukwonago Indians narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the West Allis Central Bulldogs 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why West Allis Central lost on Saturday, don't look at Alex McMillin. Despite the final result, he had 21 assists and seven digs.

Mukwonago has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for West Allis Central, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Mukwonago will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Muskego at 4:00 p.m. on October 6. As for West Allis Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Whitnall on the 20th.
