Softball Recap: New Haven Rockets vs. Memphis Yellowjackets
Memphis hit New Haven with a five-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rockets came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 10-1. New Haven dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Memphis, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.
Looking ahead, New Haven will head out to square off against Algonac at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Memphis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
