Volleyball Recap: Liberty Common Comes Up Short

Liberty Common was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Peak to Peak Pumas, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Pumas from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

While Liberty Common was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-14.

Liberty Common's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Peak to Peak, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Liberty Common will challenge Resurrection Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Peak to Peak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
