Soccer Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

After flying high against Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth last Wednesday, Lutheran came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell just short of the Riverton/Tri-City Hawks by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. Lutheran haven't had much luck with Riverton/Tri-City recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lutheran suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Riverton/Tri-City, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran will take on Lincolnwood/Morrisonville/Nokomis at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be Lutheran's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Riverton/Tri-City, they will square off against Beardstown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
