Basketball Preview: University Titans vs. Trinity Christian Academy Eagles

University has enjoyed the comforts of home their last six games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, University came up short against the Sharks and fell 44-37.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Alexis Hall, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chaviany Nelson, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. The matchup between them and The First Academy wasn't particularly close, with Trinity Christian Academy falling 47-29. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity Christian Academy in their matchups with the Royals: they've now lost three in a row.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

University skirted past the Eagles 33-31 in their previous matchup last Thursday. The rematch might be a little tougher for University since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
