Little Falls posted their closest win since April 23, 2025 on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Herkimer Magicians 8-6. The win continues a trend for the Mounties in their matchups with the Magicians: they've now won three in a row.

Caiden Perkov was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of William Rogers, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Little Falls' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Little Falls is set to face off against their familiar foe Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Herkimer will square off against rival Frankfort-Schuyler at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
