Softball Recap: The Meadows School Comes Up Short

The Meadows School lost against Boulder City back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs came up short against the Eagles, falling 20-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Meadows School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Howard, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Howard is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

The Meadows School's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Boulder City, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

The Meadows School will face off against Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Boulder City, they will challenge Sunrise Mountain at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
