Volleyball Recap: Salpointe Catholic's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Salpointe Catholic had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sandburg Eagles.

Salpointe Catholic was led to victory by Callen Hutchens and Caitlin Hurley. Hutchens had four aces and four assists, while Hurley had seven assists and six digs. That's the most aces Hutchens has posted since back in September. Natalie Mobley also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Salpointe Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Sandburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Salpointe Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Assumption on the 3rd. As for Sandburg, they will take on Lincoln-Way Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
