Softball Recap: Ganado Takes a Loss

If Ganado was feeling good fresh off their 21-10 takedown of Hopi last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell 6-3 to the Page Sand Devils on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sand Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in March.

Kaleb Descheny made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Ganado's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Page, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ganado will host Tuba City at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Page, they will face off against Holbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
