Softball Recap: Pahranagat Valley Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Pahranagat Valley got themselves on the board against Tonopah on Friday, but Tonopah never followed suit. They blew past the Muckers 15-0. Considering the Panthers have won 17 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hadee Walch made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lynda Hatch, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Mylah Stout was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Pahranagat Valley's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tonopah, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Pahranagat Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Muckers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
