Volleyball Recap: Joppatowne Comes Up Short

Joppatowne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Fallston Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Joppatowne was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-16.

Joppatowne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fallston, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Joppatowne will face off against Perryville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fallston, they will square off against Aberdeen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
