Volleyball Recap: Justice Wolves vs. Edison Eagles
Justice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Edison Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Thursday.
While Justice ultimately came up short, they really made Edison work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-23.
Ahmad Khaibar Noori paced Justice's offense, picking up 13 kills. Noori got some help from Elias Romero Maceda and his 21 assists. Finally, Isaiah Diephouse kept Justice's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Justice's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Justice does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edison, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Falls Church on the 29th.
