Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pearsall). They blew past the Robstown Cottonpickers 100-39 on Friday. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 27 points or more this season.

Pearsall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Xavier Rendon out in front who went 5 for 8 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Rendon has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 14 times he's played. Aiden Saldivar was another key player, going 7 for 12 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Pearsall has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Robstown, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
