Baseball Recap: South Wake Triumphs

While South Wake's victory against DASH wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sabres narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the United 5-3. That's two games straight that the Sabres have won by exactly two runs.

The team relied heavily on Caden Collins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

South Wake's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13. As for DASH, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, South Wake will take on Riverdale Baptist in a tournament on Wednesday. DASH does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
