Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin Academy). They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Wake Prep Academy Guardians on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their two-run performance the match before.

The team relied heavily on Caleb Lantz, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Jackson Denton also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
