Baseball Recap: United Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact United can now relate to. They lost 8-2 to the Johnson Jaguars on Friday. The Longhorns were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 9-5.

Hector Cadena made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

United's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Johnson, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 20-10.

While United had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
