Softball Recap: Olympic Trojans vs. Palisades Pumas
Olympic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Palisades Pumas. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.
Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Palisades, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympic will face off against Myers Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Myers Park has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something Olympic will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Palisades, they will host Porter Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
