Volleyball Recap: D'Evelyn Takes a Loss + How To Watch

D'Evelyn lost against Kent Denver back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars came up short against the Sun Devils, falling 3-0.

D'Evelyn was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kent Denver to victory, but perhaps none more so than Valana Thompson, who had 14 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Thompson has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Regan Tierney, who had 12 assists and ten digs.

D'Evelyn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, D'Evelyn will challenge DSST: Cedar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kent Denver, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against DSST: Montview on the 28th.
