Peekskill came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Poughkeepsie Pioneers 36-12. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Craig Jacobs went supernova, rushing for 100 yards and three scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Peekskill was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Peekskill's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB 8.5 times. The heavy lifting was done by Darnell Hinton and Kaden Mercer, who racked up 6.5 sacks between them.

Peekskill's record is now 6-1. As for Poughkeepsie, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
