Granada came tearing into Thursday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Bethune with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for Granada, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Granada's got stronger as the match went on, holding Bethune to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-8.

Camryn Coleman paced Granada's offense, picking up 15 kills. Coleman got some help from Kinsley Williams and her 24 assists. Dayzriana Quintana controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Granada's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Bethune, they moved to 7-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Granada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bethune, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Hi-Plains on the 1st.
