Preview: Woodlake Tigers vs. Kings Christian Crusaders
The Woodlake Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Kings Christian Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Monday, Woodlake ended up a good deal behind Strathmore and lost 55-38.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Hugo Cruz, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luis Rios, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Kings Christian put the finishing touches on their 17th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They breezed by Laton on the road to the tune of 60-26. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Kings Christian has posted against Laton since January 27, 2022.
Woodlake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Kings Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-2.
Woodlake was taken down by Kings Christian 84-37 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Woodlake was down 42-18.
