Softball Recap: Kennett Falls Short Against Ranked Mccracken County

Kennett is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of McCracken County. The Indians lost 11-0 to the Mustangs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Indians, who until this matchup were averaging 3.33 runs allowed.

Kennett's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 21-6. As for McCracken County, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennett will challenge Valley View at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McCracken County, they will square off against Paducah Tilghman at 6:00 p.m. on May 5.
