Basketball Game Preview: Cotulla Cowboys vs. Dilley Wolves

Cotulla is on a five-game streak of home losses, Dilley a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Cotulla Cowboys will host the Dilley Wolves at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Cotulla came up short against Hondo and fell 69-57.

Meanwhile, Dilley played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 78-28 loss at the hands of Jourdanton. The contest marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cotulla's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Dilley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.

Everything came up roses for Cotulla against Dilley in their previous meeting on January 7th, as the squad secured a 71-44 victory. Will Cotulla repeat their success, or does Dilley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
