Recap: Dublin Scioto Irish vs. Granville Blue Aces
The Dublin Scioto Irish's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 71-15 loss at the hands of Granville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dublin Scioto has scored all season.
Lyla Magnussen was Dublin Scioto's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Magnussen also led the team in rebounds with five.
Faith K took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Dublin Scioto has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Granville, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.
Dublin Scioto will take on Columbus Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus Academy is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Granville, they will head out on the road to face off against Utica at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Utica will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 366th, while Granville is ranked 68th).
