Seffner Christian is 8-0-1 against Indian Rocks Christian since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Seffner Christian came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-0 to Lakeland Christian. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Crusaders haven't been shut out since back in February.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Indian Rocks Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Admiral Farragut on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the BlueJackets 19-4. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Indian Rocks Christian got a massive performance out of Kate May, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Emery Miller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

May wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Indian Rocks Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Seffner Christian now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Indian Rocks Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.

Seffner Christian took their win against Indian Rocks Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 10-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
