Volleyball Recap: Southern Christian Takes a Loss

Southern Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Wiregrass Kings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 25-19.

Southern Christian's offense was headlined by Trinity Jerkins and Leigh Huston, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Kathryn Trettel and her four assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Southern Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Wiregrass, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Southern Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ezekiel Academy on the 6th. As for Wiregrass, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Marianna on the 6th.
