Basketball Recap: Kenyan Clover's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Maplewood over Windham

Maplewood lost against Windham back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Maplewood Rockets fell 64-51 to the Windham Bombers. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maplewood lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kenyan Clover, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Clover a new career-high in points. Trevor Shipman was another key player, going 6 for 11 en route to 13 points and three steals.

Maplewood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Windham, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Maplewood has already played their next game (against St. John), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Windham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 70-38 loss against Mathews on the 21st.
