Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only First Coast walked away with it. They came out on top against the Fletcher Senators by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Buccaneers: when they faced off against the Senators last Tuesday, they had to take a 6-1 loss.

Evan Harman was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Kharee Phillips, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

First Coast is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fletcher, they moved to 15-8-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither First Coast nor the Senators have any future games scheduled.
