Neuse Charter has gone 9-1 against Union recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Neuse Charter will take on Union at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses dating back to last season for Neuse Charter and 21 for Union dating back to last season.

Things were looking good for Neuse Charter after they put the first points on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 17-6 to Lakewood.

Neuse Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Phillips, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. That's the most stolen bases Phillips has posted since back in April of 2024. Joseph Boykin also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Union's offense. They came up short against Hobbton on Thursday, falling 18-0.

Neuse Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Neuse Charter took their victory against Union when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5. Will Neuse Charter repeat their success, or does Union has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
