Volleyball Recap: Arendell Parrott Academy's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Arendell Parrott Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Grace Christian Crusaders on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Patriots' undefeated start to the season.

Georgia Fanning paced Arendell Parrott Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Fanning got some help from Jaiden Lucas and her 14 assists. Lucas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Grace Christian found their leader in sophomore Gracie Canaday, who had six digs and two aces. Madi Mibb was another key player, getting nine assists and three digs.

Arendell Parrott Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Grace Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Arendell Parrott Academy will host Harrells Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian, they will head out to take on Greensboro Day School at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
