Pope John XXIII extended the longest winning streak in Northwest Jersey - American this week by beating Vernon, 52-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Sparta took down High Point 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Matt Seville threw for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
Sonny Abramson threw for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Abramson put up the best numbers through the air as Brian Carlson's team defeated the Vikings. Abramson's favorite target this week was Noah Brown, who caught 3 passes for 85 yards.
