Basketball Recap: New Hope-Solebury Takes a Loss

New Hope-Solebury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Springfield Township Spartans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-38 back in December of 2024.

New Hope-Solebury's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Springfield Township, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Hope-Solebury has already played their next game (against Upper Moreland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Springfield Township will face off against Lower Moreland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
