Baseball Recap: Buford Comes Up Short

Buford has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.1 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buford saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Mckenzie, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Buford's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Archbishop Spalding, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-4.

Looking ahead, Buford will head out to face off against Aynor at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Archbishop Spalding, they will take on Porter Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
