Basketball Game Preview: Astronaut War Eagles vs. Cocoa Tigers

Astronaut hasn't had much luck against Cocoa recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Astronaut War Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Cocoa Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Astronaut is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 33-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Melbourne Central Catholic.

Meanwhile, Cocoa humbled Rockledge with a 62-31 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Cocoa is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Astronaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Astronaut was taken down by Cocoa 68-7 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Astronaut avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
