Woodruff and Broome are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Woodruff Wolverines will venture away from home to face off against the Broome Centurions at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodruff will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Woodruff had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Broome on Monday. Woodruff put the hurt on Broome with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Broome and nudges their season record down to 2-5. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their performance when it comes to strikeouts: they averaged an imposing seven strikeouts in those games compared to only 3.2 in the others. As for Woodruff, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.
