Oakland Christian is 2-8 against Plymouth Christian Academy since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lancers will take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Oakland Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Plymouth Christian Academy better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Oakland Christian's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Oakland Christian really gets things going. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Lutheran. Oakland Christian haven't had any issues with Lutheran recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Plymouth Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Trojans. Given Plymouth Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Clarenceville are ranked 269th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oakland Christian now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.
