 Severn School lost to Annapolis Area Christian  back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Severn School Admirals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Annapolis Area Christian Eagles  and snuck past  6-5. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Severn School.
  Caden Blanck made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Blanck was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Aiden Szydlik, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Fletcher Warner, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Like Severn School, Annapolis Area Christian also got a great game from a two-way player:  Jacob Cresanto. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Cresanto was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Andrew Hammond was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 Severn School pushed their record up to 6-9 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs per game. As for Annapolis Area Christian,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-8.
 Severn School will head out on the road to  square off against  Indian Creek at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Severn School is facing Indian Creek at the right time seeing as Indian Creek is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Annapolis Area Christian, they will head out on the road to  take on  McDonogh at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
