Hunter Kriese Game Report: vs Metea Valley

On Monday, DeKalb had to settle for second even though Hunter Kriese put up the best numbers he has all season. Kriese wasn't messing around, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with one or fewer walks.

Even though Kriese couldn't lead DeKalb over Metea Valley, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
