Soccer Recap: Maryvale Takes a Loss

Maryvale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten goals.

Maryvale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Mountain Ridge, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maryvale will take on Camelback at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maryvale is facing Camelback at the right time seeing as Camelback is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Mountain Ridge, they will square off against Boulder Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 7.7 goals per game this season.
