Baseball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland fell victim to Columbia River and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Rapids, falling 7-0. If the Beavers were looking for revenge after losing 14-0 to the Rapids when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodland has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Columbia River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

While Woodland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
