Basketball Recap: Loyalsock Township Takes a Loss

Loyalsock Township was the 52-49 winner over Danville when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Loyalsock Township Lancers and the Danville Ironmen didn't end well, with the Loyalsock Township Lancers falling 73-58.

Danville's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Walker, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards. Mason Kingery was another key player, going 7 of 15 on his way to 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Loyalsock Township now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Danville, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Loyalsock Township will square off against Neumann Regional Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Loyalsock Township is facing Neumann Regional Academy at the right time seeing as Neumann Regional Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Danville, they will face off against Minersville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Danville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season.
