Volleyball Recap: LaMoille Comes Up Short

LaMoille was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10.

LaMoille's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Lowpoint-Washburn, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.

LaMoille will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Earlville at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Lowpoint-Washburn, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against DeLand-Weldon on the 4th.
