The Da Vinci Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They lost to Gadsden on the road by a decisive 44-27 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Da Vinci has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Da Vinci still got an impressive performance from Valeria Miranda, who scored 18 points.

Da Vinci's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Gadsden, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9.

Da Vinci will take on Gadsden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gadsden is hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for they, they will head out on the road to square off against Da Vinci at 7:00 p.m. Da Vinci will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 1186th in Texas, while Gadsden is ranked 115th in New Mexico).
