Softball Recap: Springfield Township Comes Up Short

Springfield Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the New Hope-Solebury Lions. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Springfield Township's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for New Hope-Solebury, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Springfield Township is set to challenge their familiar foe Lower Moreland at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Hope-Solebury will face off against rival Upper Moreland at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
