Football Preview: Gordon Central Warriors vs. Gordon Lee Trojans        
        
		
             The Gordon Central Warriors and the Gordon Lee Trojans are set to duel  on Friday.
 Last Friday, Gordon Central came up short against Christian Heritage  and fell  28-20. The Warriors have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Jayden Sibley, who threw for 193 yards  while completing 78.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 54 yards.
 Even if they lost, Gordon Central's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was  Matt Hammock with  two.  Josh Hight was another major factor on D,  picking up  a  sack and making ten total tackles.
 Meanwhile, while Gordon Lee put up some  points on Friday, the same  can't be said for Dade County. Gordon Lee strolled past Dade County with  points to spare, taking the game  19-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Trojans.
 A big part of Gordon Lee's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Dustin Day and his top target  Landon Norton. Day threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns while  Norton picked up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Norton showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 65 yards.
 Gordon Lee was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 220  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 220  rushing yards in six consecutive  contests.
 Gordon Lee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Norton and  Peyton Groce.
 Gordon Central now  has a losing record at 3-4. As for Gordon Lee, their record now sits at 5-2.
 Gordon Central was dealt a bruising  43-7 defeat at the hands of Gordon Lee when the teams last played  back in September of 2021. Can Gordon Central avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
