Football Recap: Brookhaven Academy Gets the Win

While Brookhaven Academy's win against Bowling Green wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Cougars made off with a 17-16 victory over the Buccaneers. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won four in a row.

Brookhaven Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bowling Green, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookhaven Academy will take on St. Joseph Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowling Green, they will challenge Parklane Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
