Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greene Central). They came out on top against the Ayden - Grifton Chargers by a score of 70-61 on Friday. While the Rams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greene Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dontrez Evans, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Evans is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Joshua Cetnar was another key player, putting up ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
