Baseball Recap: St. Rose Takes a Loss

St. Rose lost against Point Pleasant Boro on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Purple Roses fell 8-4 to the Panthers. The Purple Roses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Rose's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Point Pleasant Boro, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

St. Rose will welcome Point Pleasant Beach at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Purple Roses' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Garnet Gulls have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Point Pleasant Boro, they will head out to square off against Liberty at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
