Basketball Recap: La Salle Institute Falls Short of Troy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact La Salle Institute can now relate to. They fell just short of the Troy Flying Horses by a score of 62-60 on Thursday. The Cadets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Flying Horses earlier this season, when they won 75-71.

With the defeat, La Salle Institute broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.7 points over those games. As for Troy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.
